Nerano
The village of Nerano extends to the valley on the slopes of the mountains of San Costanzo (185 m asl), in an atmospheric and wild setting.
The small village develops around the church of San Salvatore, it consists of colorful houses and pergolas, which fit harmoniously into the landscape of this area.
The church ‘San Salvatore’
The small parish church, located in the Piazzetta of Nerano, dates back to the fifteenth century. It has an apse and three cross-vaulted vessels connected by arcades and pilasters. In the transept on the right there is a small chapel dedicated to St. Philomena. In the two aisles, we can admire three altars on the right and two altars on the left.
